| The New XK at a Glance |
There are two models in the range – the XK and XKR - and each is available in coupé or convertible body style. Substantially increased power, dramatic new levels of performance and improved fuel efficiency are provided by two all-new Jaguar engines – the 5.0 Litre AJ-V8 GEN III in XK and the supercharged 5.0 Litre AJ-V8 GEN III R in XKR.
Driver enjoyment is further enhanced by the introduction of new, advanced driving technologies including Adaptive Dynamics, Active Differential Control, JaguarDrive Control™, JaguarDrive Selector™ and an all-new 6HP28 electronically controlled six speed automatic transmission.
New exterior styling reflects the heightened performance, whilst inside the redesigned cabin, the finest materials combine with contemporary craftsmanship and new colour and veneer choices to create an interior that is a perfect example of Jaguar Sporting Luxury. |

| Exterior Design |
Even standing still, the new XK looks fast. Coupé or Convertible, normally aspirated or supercharged XKR, its sweeping, athletic lines and muscular rear haunches exude immense visual energy. Fast has never looked this seductive.
Visual energy is created by an aluminium skin stretched taut over the body structure, and with sculpted surfaces created to cut the air with aerodynamic efficiency. All XK models feature exquisite, precision detailing – complex mesh surfacing for the front grille openings, bold, technically advanced headlamps, elegant and distinctive side power vents.
To reflect the heightened performance delivered by powerful and more efficient new engines, the XK's lines have been redrawn to be even more assertive. The sculpted nose now features a dramatic new front bumper design with chrome detailed air intakes, heightening the look of power and performance. |

| Quality & Craftsmanship |
Jaguar's unique approach to quality and craftsmanship is perfectly demonstrated inside the new XK where the finest materials and contemporary design create an environment that is sporting and luxurious.
There is an extensive choice of hand crafted wood or technical veneers, leathers and interior colourways across the range. XKR models are set apart by a number of unique R branding and styling cues, whilst craftsmanship with bespoke luxury reaches a new pinnacle with the XK.
In convertible models, there's a flawless craftsmanship in the sophisticated fabric roof. Triple-lined to deliver hushed, top-up cruising, it can be powered up or down in less then 18 seconds. And when lowered, it retracts completely into the bodywork beneath a rigid tonneau cover, so as not to compromise the XK's seductive lines. |

| XKR |
| The XKR – the ultimate expression of Jaguar design and engineering. Perfectly balanced and a study in elegance and refined power, it displays a passion for style and luxury – and a promise of performance to make the heart race. At its heart is an all-new supercharged 5.0 Litre V8 engine, featuring variable inlet camshaft phasing to develop 510PS and a peak torque of 625Nm. Acceleration is breathtaking – 0 to 60mph in just 4.6 seconds. The supercharger also ensures high levels of power and torque are available at all engine speeds, providing instant throttle response, outstanding mid-range acceleration and excellent driveability. |

| Aluminium |
| A sports car that could only be built from aluminium, featuring a monocoque bodyshell formed using epoxy bonding and riveting techniques more commonly used in the aerospace industry. The result is a structure that is light yet exceptionally strong and rigid. The benefits to the driver are compelling – faster acceleration, exceptional agility, quicker braking, reduced fuel consumption and lower emissions. |

| Driving Dynamics |
Driving dynamics for the purist. Perfect balance and instant response. Jaguar's all new electronically controlled, six speed transmission gives the smoothest gear shifts and optimum performance all the time. Adaptive Dynamics is engineered to determine the best possible balance between ride and handling, monitoring and varying damping to suit the driving conditions, delivering a comfortable, sporting ride together with razor sharp handling.
Trac Dynamic Stability Control is designed to intervene in demanding driving situations by applying braking to individual wheels and reducing engine torque. The system helps to prevent over-steer and under-steer, and also improves traction and acceleration. Active Differential Control is a new electronically controlled differential for XKR. ADC varies locking torque dependent on the prevailing road conditions, to offer superior traction on loose surfaces and improve cornering stability. |

| The advanced technologies in the new XK are engineered to empower, not overpower, enhancing driver enjoyment. Sophisticated yet simple, XK's range of intelligent technologies include Keyless Ignition and Keyless Entry; the Driver Information Centre, which shows messages and information such as cruise control and trip computer data; and a 7 inch colour Touch-screen interface that allows easy operation of the climate control, in car entertainment and Bluetooth® compatible telephone system. |

| JaguarDrive Selector™ |
The XK's sophisticated 6HP28 automatic transmission is controlled by the all-new JaguarDrive Selector™ - and industry-first rotary shift interface that combines precise, intuitive control with leading edge ergonomics and interior design.
Press the pulsing red "Start" button in front of the JaguarDrive Selector™ to fire up the XK's engine, and the cylindrical cast alloy shift control rises up into the palm of the driver's hand. Automatic transmission functions are then selected by simply turning the control, and with a simple push and turn to move from Drive to Sport mode.

| Bowers and Wilkins 525W Premium Sound System |
The top-of-the-range Bowers and Wilkins 525W premium sound system with AM/FM radio (or optional DAB), 6 disc in-dash CD changer with MP3 compatibility that offers extraordinary clarity and faithful sound reproduction. Designed and tuned for the XK by Bowers and Wilkins, the surround sound system delivers a powerful and vivid performance.
The Bowers and Wilkins 525W premium sound system has a remote amplifier with DolbyÒ. Pro LogicÒ II sound and 8 speakers. Bowers and Wilkins technology, exclusively used in Jaguar cars, is acclaimed by audiophiles, artists and recording engineers alike. KevlarÒ cones in the larger speakers (the distinctive yellow appearance is discretely visible through the speaker grille) improve linearity of response and reduce distortion, while aluminium domes on the tweeters improve sound reproduction at high frequencies by reducing the weight of the moving part.

| Advanced Safety Systems |
All XK models feature a range of Advanced Safety Systems – including Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Jaguar's Adaptive Restraint Technology System (A.R.T.S™), Pedestrian Contact Sensing System™, and – on XK Convertible models – a highly sophisticated roll-over protection system.
